The Varsity Choir meets daily for one credit per semester and must be taken both semesters each year. Varsity Choir is a female ensemble for beginning singers designed to further develop vocal techniques, basic musicianship, music appreciation, performance practices, and organizational team work. The Varsity Choir performs on four concerts each year. Participation in District and State solo and ensemble contests is optional. Chorus members are exposed to a wide variety of secular and sacred literature from all musical periods.
