I'm in Varsity Choir, but I had to agree with that one!! In our class, we joke sometimes about the 1st Sopranos being "better," but we don't ever go @ each others necks. I think Randy Man had some good advice. Hey Randy, why don't u stop over at VC's Forum and resolve some of our conflicts?

No real reason, that I can think of other than I know quite a few of the Velveteens. I don't really know more than a handfull of you all (and besides, if I do slam someone, I enjoy the pleasure of knowing who I'm slamming Smile

. Additionally, working out problems amongst yourselves makes you grow as people. That may sound rather snobbish and upity, but that's not how it's meant to sound. Peace...

Ok thanx. I think you're right and that we do grow as people when we solve our own conflicts. Thanx for saying it, though. It didn't sound snobbish...it makes you sound intelligent. And i totally understand what u said that it's better to know who you're slamming...because it is!!

yes some people are immature but they also are not like this all the time and they should be able to act any way as long as they do what they got to do.

Hmmm. People should be able to act any way they want as long as they do what they (have) to do? You're probably one of the people cutting in front of me in the lunch line aren't you. To a point what you say is correct. People have a right to be as immature as they wish. But when you point to "they" (as I'm guessing you mean the person acting immature) and your reasoning is that this same "they" get what they need done, you're off target. This attitude is far too self-indulgent, im my eyes. If what you say is true, than anyone can do whatever they want whenever as long as what "they" have to get done is accomplished. And if you're working on a group project with a person, and that person has a crucial role in the project that everythng else depends on, what happens when that person gets "their" part done the day your project is due? Yes, "they" finished their part, but what about everyone else? If I've missed my point, I can try again later, I'm sure I'll have the time...

Right on the money. If we could all just get along, even if it were just faking getting along, the world would be a happier place. It sounds corny but if you look deep inside you know it's true. We all hurt people, whether on purpose or by accident. Think about the last person you hurt. Could you appologize and make things better? Try it, you'll be filled with a sense of general goodwill, and you'll find it might ease some of the pain from the last time you were hurt. Try not to be vengeful unless no other option presents itself. Just my thoughts on the matter. Peace; love; rock 'n roll;
